海綿寶寶受到他最好的朋友派大星的鼓勵，克服他的恐懼，終於去應徵那份夢幻工作，就是在蟹堡王餐廳擔任煎炸食物的廚師。餐廳蟹老闆和他的助手章魚哥逼他證明他夠格擔任這份工作，後來海綿寶寶得到一支特殊小鍋鏟的幫助，隨機應變，排除萬難，餵飽了滿坑滿谷、饑腸轆轆的鰻魚。

Encouraged by his best friend, Patrick Star, SpongeBob overcomes his fears and finally applies for that dream job as a fry cook at the Krusty Krab. Challenged by the owner, Mr. Krabs, and his assistant Squidward, to prove himself worthy of the job, SpongeBob rises to the occasion, with the help of one very special spatula, by feeding a sea of ravenous anchovies.

  • SpongeBob: Aye aye, captain! One hydrodynamic spatula, with port-and-starboard attachments, turbo drive, coming right up, Sir!
  • Krabs: Carry on! Well never see that lubber again.
  • Squidward: Youre terrible! A hydro-what?
  • Bus Driver: Hey! Hey! Please! Passengers are to stay seated and put their hands out the window!
  • Krabs: That sounded like hatch doors! Do you smell it? That smell. A kind of smelly smell. A smelly smell that smells... smelly. Anchovies.
  • Squidward: What?
  • Krabs: ANCHOVIES!
  • Squidward: Please, please, quiet! Is this any way to behave, hmmm?
  • Anchovy: Eat!
  • Squidward: Could we show a little decency and form a neat, single file line in front of the register?
  • SpongeBob: BargN Mart, meeting all of your spatula needs.
  • Mr. Krabs: All hands on deck! Get your anchors out of your pants!
  • Squidward: One single file line was all I asked!
  • Krabs: Whoa! Button down the hatches, Mr. Squidward! Were taking on water, Mr. Squidward! I want my mommy, Mr Squidward!
  • SpongeBob: Do do do do do do, spatula, spatula, port-and-starboard attachments.
  • Squidward: HELP!!!!
  • Krabs: Man overboard! Climb, Mr. Squidward! Climb!
  • Anchovies: MEEP!!!! MEEP!!!!!!
  • Krabs: This is the end! Good-bye, Mr. Squidward!
  • Squidward: Oh Mr. Krabs!
  • SpongeBob: Permission to come aboard captain! Da da da da da da da! Da da da da da da da da da da! Did someone order a spatula? Thats right! One hydrodynamic spatula with port-and-starboard attachments, and lets not forget the turbo drive! Would you believe they only had one in stock? To the kitchen! Whos hungry?
  • Krabs: That was the finest fast foodsmanship Ive ever seen, Mr. SquarePants! Welcome aboard!
  • Squidward: But, but Mr. Krabs...
  • Krabs: Three cheers for SpongeBob! Hip-hip!
